On a recent trip up North we made a side trip to Detroit to do a little exploring. As always, we took the path less traveled and spent a few hours discovering sites that very few people will ever see. First we found the beautiful St. Anne’s Church built in 1886. The church dates back to 1704 which makes it the 2nd oldest continuous Roman Catholic Parish in the United States!
This is the 7th St. Anne’s Church in the Detroit area. The previous 6 have all been demolished.
