Still  pushing  towards  St.  Louis  on  day  1  we  found  this  3  span  Pony  Truss  Bridge  over  a  B  &  O  rail  line  on  a  township  road  just  west  of  Bridgeport,  Illinois.  The  bridge,  built  around  1920,  is  very  unique  as  it  has  the  steep  rise  on  either  side  to  give  access  to  the  rail  line  and  it  has  the  old  style  wrought  iron  fencing  with  the  pointed  tip.  You  just  can’t  find  this  type  of  fencing  anymore.
